I need to find more hobbys?

and things to do. It seems like alot of my friends have moved away and all I seem to do is drink and mope around. I need some new exciting hobbies which will get me out more and meet new people. any ideas?

have you thought about metal detecting -

I'm sure there is a store near you that sells metal detectors - and they will have a list of clubs that go on hunts together =  you can find some really neat stuff - jewelry, coins, medallions, civil war buttons etc.  By joining a club you will meet experienced detectors - they will show you all the tricks for success.  Tehy provide the permission from land owners, and usually have a lunch somewhere.  

It will get you out = and who knows maybe you will find something really interesting =

You can always take it to a beach - people loose all kinds of stuff at the beach - also walk at the very edge of the water - lost items wash up and settle in the sand.

Try looking into classes that are offered at local recreation centers or places like that or join a sports team.You can see if anything catches your eye or if there is something that you have ever considered doing. Chances are if you find something you really enjoy you will meet people with the same interest and that is a good foundation for a new friendship. Martial Arts, Drawing, Dance, Acting, Writing, Collecting Something,Cooking, Sports, Swimming, Working Out, Running Club, Guitar...to name a few. Travelling is always fun too, and you meet tons of cool new people (if you can afford it).Depends on what kind of stuff you are into! Good luck :)

Try www.meetup.com . You can find groups in your area to get together with. Maybe join a group that is already into something you may be interested in. They could help you to learn about it. They have groups for everything photography, book clubs, movies, technology, science, religion. You name it, I bet there's a group for it.

I felt the same way, so last week I went for a walk with my family in the Lickey Hills (forest area, really pretty), sorted out my shed, did a car boot sale, and went to the library today! Now I also have a book to read to occupy myself! Next week I plan to go to this farm where I can milk a cow haha! You could also look at local events in your area, get a job or get some regular exercise. Get really into it and make a goal for yourself for the end of the summer. You'll be pleased with the final results for sure!

I suggest stamp collecting. You can buy a cheap album and decide what you want to collect.

Many collectors collect a theme or by country.

I attended a stamp fair recently and this dealer had an album full of elephants...I didnt buy it but had a good laugh at what others collect.

There are stamp clubs for people of any age, and some have guest speakers. You can find details normally in your local library or on the Internet (www).

If you look in Yellow Pages (The Phone Book) under philatelists, this will tell you of any dealers in your area. Most dealers are also good at listening and giving good advice.

Im sure you wont get bored getting started Collecting Stamps.
