I need to find out the name of the person who keeps calling me?

Someone keeps calling me on my cell phone, about 3-5 times a week. I have their phone number, but not their name.

Every time I call them back they either don't answer or hang up right away.

No online phone books give the person's name, and I understand why, but is there a way I can get their name?

If I know who it is it will be less creepy.

If its freaking you out that much, call the cops and they will trace the call/ find out for you. But then you would probably have to take it further

Have you tried ringing the number from a different phone, or getting someone else to call??

I know in the UK there is no requirement to register mobile phones, hence no reliable directory. Get the feeling that you are in the US though so it may be different there?

I am not sure which country you are in but here in Canada you call your service provider and file a complaint with them...here, the phone companies take this quite serious. If the phone company suggest calling the police then call the police, otherwise until it becomes a real nuisance do not involve the police.
