I need to find out the rate of pedestrians that jaywalk in the United States.?

The statistics could be from any year. I know the percentage of pedestrians killed each year while crossing at non-intersection crossings but I need to know how many pedestrians jaywalk. Please include your source because this has to be referenced.

Each year in the United States, about 4,800 pedestrians are killed in traffic accidents, and another 71,000 are injured. Also, about a quarter of all children aged five to nine who die in traffic accidents are pedestrians.
