I need to find the cheapest flight possible?

Question

From Palm Springs Airport [PSP] in California to Ceder Rapids Aiport [CID] in Iowa. The trip should be from about August 11-25. I need to find a few results:

What is the cheapest flight for 1 person around those times at those specific airports?

What is the cheapest flight for 2 people around those times at those specific airports?

What are the restrictions on minors traveling without an adult?

I fly into both areas.

First of all - there are no cheap fares for that itinerary.  If you want cheap, I suggest you fly out if Orange County (Santa Ana) airport, or LAX.    Then, instead of flying into Eastern Iowa Regional Airport (Cedar Rapids) - fly into Quad City Airport in Moline, Illinois - which is about an hour drive to Cedar Rapids.  You will find much cheaper fares.  

Forget Des Moines, as they are extremely expensive.  

Try the old standbys, Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz to get an idea of the fares.  But then go directly to the airlines website to book - you usually save $5 or $10 bucks by doing this.
