I need to find the year of a mercury 9.8 outboard motor seriel # 4305304?

it has 110 on the sides and 9.8 on the front and is it easy to replace the impeller on the same motor?

go online to Mercury, they made it and should be able to help.

I don't know the year but the pump should be no problem, just make sure you take it apart and put it back together in forward gear. That's how Merc's work. good luck.

P.S. put liquid soap on the impeller.
