I need to find weather archives?

I'm doing a project on China at around the 1960's (during the time of communism in China) and I'm making a 5-day weather forecast... can anyone tell me where I can find out what the weather was like in the 1960's? (Unfortunately the weather isn't the same now as it was 40 years ago because of global warming......... yes it DOES exist)

Jake, Jake, Jake.....In the 1970's, Scientist said the Earth was facing severe cooling that we could be facing a Global Freeze, NOW, they say we're facing Global warming, The Earth goes through NATURAL periodic severe temperature changes that have nothing to do with man or beast. That's not to suggest that we don't need to be better stewards of our planet, on the contrary, We have done irreparable harm to our beautiful planet, We just need to be more aware of our actions concerning Mother Earth.
