I need to get HIV tested for a VISA application. Anyone know where I can get reliable/safe testing in Chile?

Living in Santiago, Chile. Curious where a good place to get an HIV test is and if you could also tell me what that entails (needle, urine, what) and rough cost estimate.

Go to Clinica Alemana or Clinica Las Condes and they will do it there. I haven't heard about clinica Santa Maria but I am sure those 3 clinics will do it in their labs. I am sure of Clinica Alemana. HIV testing is only a blood test. Urine and others are not necesarry. Cost? it depends on the clinic, sorry I have no idea. Call those 3 clinicas and they can tell you and if you need to do it early in the morning (no food) or not.

Is a blood sample. Clinica Alemana, Las Condes and Santa Maria are pretty good, but Hospital Clinico Universidad Catolica and Universidad de Chile also probably a lot cheaper. Know Any public hospital will do it for free but you will have to wait a little longer to get the results. Good luck.
