I need to get Organized, Does anyone Know of a Detailed site for Organization, any Books would also help,?

I really need to get organized, I'm not dirty but I am a slob, I am so messy , I mean even with clothes, pics, cd,s, and paperwork , mine are all over the place, and Oh, my makeup, I have to much with no where to put it ,, You see I am moving to a new one bedroom Apt, from my Studio Apt I have now, Both places are small , so I want to get organized so my new place won't be as cluttered as my old one

No sweetie, you posted in exactly the right place!

One of the biggest problems that face most homeowners today is organization.  Most of my design clients (I'm a decorator) ask me about this very same thing.

It has great ideas!

My very best advice is to be very prudent when sorting and storing.

If you have not used it in a while, re-cyle it.

We spend far too much time each day just trying to locate our things!

Countless hours each year are wasted looking for things because we are less than organized.

Everything has energy.   Even our things we own, have energy.  The more you have the more energy it takes from your space and yes, you!  Ever notice when you clean a room how much lighter it feels?  

Give yourself some breathing room.  You'll be amazed at how it makes you feel when you come home.

You should go to the library and check out some books on organizing.  I have an empty wicker basket in my living room just so I can throw things in before I answer the door.  Things like nail files, books, etc.  I always try to put my things in the same place every time.  Keys, in the small basket by my door, I have a place for my mail there too, a wicker purse.  I use cardboard boxes, that I cover with wrapping paper to put things in my cabinets and closets.  I just pull the whole box out to find what I'm looking for and the area appears to be organized.  I use the small ones for bars of soap, packets or seasoning mixes, etc.  Go to the library, they even have mags there to get ideas from.  Good luck!
