I need to get a claims insurance licensce in NY.?

I was told I probably need to get the General lic.

I understand this a company that assists with this called Pro Matrix, but I cannot find anything on this issue or this company.

Please advise. thanks.

If you are handling P&C claims only, you do not need a license.

Call the NY State Dept of Insurance & find out what you need to do, where you need to go, if classroom time is required, etc.  They probably have a website, but, if you are not sure exactly what you are looking for, it may take a while to find it.  So, call.
