I need to get a healthier sleeping pattern.?

I am currently on my summer holidays and I have two weeks left, because I have been off I have been going to bed really late and not getting up until nearly 1 in the after noon. I need to get back to going to sleep at about 10:30 - 11:00 and getting up early. Plus making it worse is I am finding it really hard to go to sleep as I keep waking up as my hip is really hurting whenever I lye on it (I have Sciatica). What can I do to get a good sleeping pattern before re-starting school.

  1. go to bed late and get up early then go to bed at 10.30 its not rocket science my girl !!!!


  2. the first night sleep late like usual...then start waking up earlier like 11 first. then you ll be sleepy during the day so at night you can sleep early like 12 or 1.keep waking up at 11 then start sleeping at 11:30 or 12 and waking up at least 10 work like that keep waking up earlier and going to sleep earlier gradually. don't take naps during the day because you wont be sleepy at night. about your side try and sleep on your stomach. oh and dont watch tv wont let you sleep i try to convince myself it does but it dosent try and just daydream or read. I'm ging to have to get back to normal too.... uggh that sucks.. smile =)

  4. force yourself to wake up for 8/9 in the morning you'll be dying to go to sleep at night then you'll sleep at 10 in the night and wake up earlier the next morning and so on.

  5. Get up tomorrow early, no matter how much that kills you.  10 might do it since you have been sleeping until 1.  You will be tired, but that's good.  Then you can go to bed earlier, say 12 because you will be tired enough.  Make sure you don't nap either.  Then gradually wake up earlier, like the next day wake up at 9:30 and so on.

  6. Ahh Not school, you kinda sound like my mom because I have the same problem, I go to bed at like 2 and wake up at 12 or 11. In fact I just woke up! Well the only thing i can think off is what my dad say to me. Work out! Run Walk Swim Whatever, so when It like 10 30 you'll be sleepy. Also If you have a room like mine, with a laptop, Tv, Ds , and other thing to keep me awake just turn them all off!

  7. try to sleep 15 minutes earlier every day. When you can't sleep, read a book. Don't go on the Internet.  

  8. You could try taking nytol it is a over the counter sleeping aid, when i have bad sleeping patterns, i take this for about 1 wk and does the trick for me!! good luckxxxx

    Just try to relax before you go to sleep.

    DON'T stay on the pc or watch T.V after 9pm.

    Seriously, that will help you so much. I should take my OWN advice hahah.

  10. go to sleep really late, wake up extra early in the morning, dont tak a nap during the day, and go to sleep early! badabing badaboom!
