I need to get a new battery for my cordless phone...?

My battery for my phone is 3.6v 600mah, when I went to Ebay I found this battery but some of them had a '3AA-B' or a '3AA-W' along with the other numbers. Are these numbers important? What do they mean? If I get the wrong battery, I can't return it so I want to make sure that the battery is compatible. Thanks

I would agree with Radio Shack.  Now office supply stores like Staples have a variety of batteries as well as Target.

I would go to Radioshack.  They have a system on their computers that will search for a compatible battery.  (even if they don't have it in stock)
