Any suggestions of how to get a nice at home tan by Saturday? Also, How do I make sure I get all the places? I've used at home tanning products and then when they dry I'll have like one really dark streak by my elbow or a huge blotch on my leg where I didn't rub it in good enough - how do I prevent this?

  1. several light applications are better than one heavy one

make sure to exfoliate dry areas like elbows and knees

my freind who's skin care expert says to mix the self tanner half and half with a light moisturizer and apply 2-3 light coats a day. If areas seem to be darker by the 2nd or 3rd application aoid those and just aplly to the lighter areas

Nuetrogena is a good over the counter brand

  2. you should something like a moisturizer with a natural glow and then you don't have to worry so much about the streaking and such

  3. You should try Solerra.  It is a mitt you rub on like a wash cloth so you don't see any streaks.  It darkens over time and if you use the eX mitt and exfoliate before, the tan lasts more than the suggested 5 days.  They are safe and supported by the Skin Cancer Awareness Foundation.
