I need to get a singing agent...?

What do I have to do to get an agent besides the experience, or do I just post a youtube vid of me singing?? please help!!

PS i'm 12 going on 13 in 2 months and i want to sing for disney channel like jordan pruitt.

make a video docermentry of you singing and or acting and talk about yourself and why you want this and have your mom ask you random questions and interview you sing a few songs on the dvd and send it out to disney and they will get back to you

yes you should also post a vidio on you tube and see if people like you butt not everyone will notice you on you tube because many people record themselvs singing on there soo go with my idea but plan it first

Hi

You need to realize that there is no sure fire way of getting any sort of success in this business even if you have trained for 16-18 years. Agents don't go trawling youtube for talent. They are more interested in the hundreds of working musicians in bars, working as session singers, graduating music school, etc...

You need to be real. Maybe wait until you are bit older.. get together with some like-minded musicians and make a demo of all your work. You need to work up a fan base.. agents/record labels will never take people on, unless they have already proved that they can secure fans.

Unless you find an open call for Disney.. your best bet is to enroll in Drama/Singing classes and hope that someone notices you or gives you an opportunity.

uhmmm,you know what you should do? upload a video to youtube,or just go to american idol,i mean,aim something bigger,not disney channel,if you wanna do something,do it the best,not the conformist way...
