  1. I have thick wavy hair and the solia works great for me.  There's a temperature choice on it so the higher the temp. the better it can straighten wavy hair.  No other straightener I tried worked for me.  Get Solia, you won't be disappointed.  They have this straightener on www.folica.com

  2. The Helen of Troy straighteners work great for me. You have to get them at a beauty supply store though like Sally's. I don't know if you have those around you or not, but a place that sells beauty supplies. They are less expensvie than the Chi.

  3. i think that you should just get a chi.

i have like three and they are really good for your hair type. they will give you smooth hair. you should also get moisurizing spray to keep your hair from frying

  4. go to bed bath and beyond

they have some resonably priced straighteners that work really well

  5. Get a Remington it really works (for me at least). Good luck with your new straightener !!!!

  6. i have the remington wet to straight hair straightener and it works amazing on my hair. my hair is somewhat thick also.
