I need to get in shape by april 10th 2007 for my volleyball tournaments?

Im kind of overweight at 141 and i need to loose alot of weight. Im 5'4 and i can't control my eating habbits I always want to eat something. Im very slow at running and im very lazy. What do I do?

  1. okay so heres what you do it kinda depends on what position you play to get in shape because i am guessing since you arent exactly the tallest you are either backrow setter outside. If you are a hitter i would suggest doing plyometrics things like boxes and stuff to work on your agility. if you are backrow i would work out your legs because in volleyball all of  your strength comes from your legs.  and of course as bad as it sounds go for a run like at least once a week as much as it sucks you will start to get faster and faster and it wont be so hard anymore and you will impress everyone at your volleyball tournaments.


  2. practice. Cut back on jun and start eating healthier more. Run, because you need speed. You can also go to the gym.  work on your upper and lower body to get you stronger.

  3. well u gotta change, start by running for 30min 3 times a week, try to do some stretches throughout the day, u gotta get up off of your *** and start working on getting in shape if you want to for this tournament, use some light weights and high reps to burn off the fat and sculpt some lean muscle...all in all try to eat but eat small meals, like 6 meals a day, eat snacks throughout the day like grapes and stuff to help you burn calories...drink water...lots..

  4. Just TRY to cut back on BIG meals and you'll drop a couple pounds. Make sure you have strong arms so do a least 3 sets of 15 push ups a day. Just work on any arm strenght since thats all volleyball uses

  5. even though this may sound like a drag run either before your day starts or after school or work or whatever. Then maybe have a yogurt drink in the morning, and eat healthy.
