  1. Like everyone said, you should try to run the track everyday. Even if you have to walk it, you will eventually build the strength to run 2miles. Then every other day do weight training. This will help strengthen /tone your arms to hit better. Maybe cool down with pilates or yoga. Eat lean meat and vegetables and fruit. and some carbs.

  2. exercise!!!

  3. If you can only run half way around the track, do it, then walk until you can run again.  Do this till you complete 1 mile for the first week.  There is no shame in walking.  Then hit some tennis balls with a friend or against a wall.   In the second week increase the distance 1.5 miles (6 track laps).  Be patient with yourself.  Finish the 1.5 miles even if it takes you an half an hour.  In the third week, increase to 2 miles (once again, don't worry if you have to walk half of it).  Just relax and do your best.  To get better at running, you just have to run.  Running on a treadmill, a track, or dirt trail would work too.  Avoid running on concrete and asphalt (they're really bad for your knees). And good luck!

  4. OK, first things first go for a run every other day.  On the days that you do not run, lift.  Eat a good amount of protein and drink a lot of water before you eat meals so it makes you full. Try this website for more exercise routines. http://www.mensfitness.com/index

  5. Determination, diet, and don't give up  =]

  6. It depends on how out of shape you are. The best way is to actually run the 1-2 miles that you are going to have

to do during the season. Also a good diet will help a lot in getting in shape. There is no way out of it. Just hard work.

  7. it depends on ur shape. all i can tell u is to push urself to the max

  8. there is no fast way.

every1 will tell u that u need to modify ur diet and exercise. its true.

i wud think that if u r good in tennis spend more time actually running and strengthening and practice like 2-3 times a week, rest of it run and run and run, do sprints one time and log distance the next

  9. 1. Run a little every 2 days, or whenever you can. You don't have to run fast, you can jog. The more you run the better.

    2. Eat healthy. Don't eat too much junkfood. Have a goodnights sleep and you should be ready to join tennis if you repeat this in about a month.  Good luck! :]
