I need to get my friend a gift...?

but the thing is it can't be a like something you can hand over--like an item. because she lives far away. i dont want to send her something because she didn't give me anything for my bday except call me on the phone to greet me. the reason why i want to give her a gift is because she's the only best friend i've known since kindergarten and i'm on her top 4 on myspace. what's a good online gift? or anything really. i don't want to give her a phone call too. help! she's a teenager turning 16. oh and she's asian.

You should send her a letter. To tell her how much you love her and how much she means to you. And just because she didn't give you anything for your birthday doesn't mean you shouldn't. Be a good friend. I'd suggest that you should send her a bracelet..with her name carved on it. Or a heart locket necklace or something. But do call her. And send her a letter for sure! Tree seeds (giant redwood are best) they can fit in a standard envolope so no need for expencive P&P and the tree will grow and every time she looks at it she will know you got it for her.

Oh dear, you love her so you must not let this relationship fade apart! forget it if she didnt give u anything for your birthday, that doesnt make any difference whatsoever. maybe you can give her a top, or a scarf, or a little jewellery box. Oh go on just send her something.
