I need to get the splits down in a month!!! HELP!!!?

I just became a varsity cheerleader in high school and we have to have our splits down before our first game (less then a month). Anybody have any stretches or tips to help me with the splits???

  2. Using a bar I got my splits down in a week. use a bar higher than your  waist (like a hand rail) place one leg on the  bar stretching to your toes and then the other. repetition is key keep it up. and each time you will be able to bend further. Good luck and congrats!

  3. Stretch before every meal. Sit on the ground with your legs apart, and site there for a long time. And also, try doing as low as u can go, and sit there 4 30 secoends. And you can also try to make sure where ever you try to do ur splitz is warm, it will make you more bendy!!

  4. you and me both lol! just do the splits everyday for 30 second and in 2 or 3 weeks you will be great.

  5. Ok put your foot up on a book of somthing a few inches off the ground and push down as hard as you can for as long as you can. And stretching in a stradle streches both legs, but just try to hold it as long as you can.  Good Luck! (=

  6. Do a right and left leg lunge(seperate times of course)

    After your done with your lunge straighten out your front leg and try to put your nose to your knee and hold it, then slide to your splits. Have someone push you down and dont tell them to stop right when it starts hurting, give it atleast thirty seconds then tell them to stop. If it doesnt hurt, they arent going to get better. Then switch sides and do the other splits.

    As for the middle what you have to do is called froggie. You get down like your doing the middle splits but then put your legs behind you and rest on your lower arms. Again, have someone push you down further for at least thirty seconds.

    Something else that will help everything overall is just stretching. Like stradle stretch, pike, butterfly, stretching is key and its best to do it everyday.
