I need to get to Durango, Mexico from DFW, any sugg? how far is bus ride from torreon to durango?

The flight from DFW to Durango is $900. I need to know if I'll be safe flying to Torreon and taking the bus to Durango, then back. I'm a single female traveling alone. Also, how far is the bus station from the airport in Torreon?

i have done this before....( fares to dgo. are ridiculous) you can take a taxi from Torreon's airport to the bus station, buses depart to dgo. every hour, and you have the choice of first class or second class buses. Torreon to Dgo. should be about 4 hours and i would defenitly recommend it.( to save $500? why not!!!)
