  1. Hitchhike in not very common in Italy.

    Nobody will pick you up


  2. It would be almost in possible to hitch hike from Trapani it would be much easier to catch the train or the bus, but I don't think buses run that late at night and since you have to take the Boat across to get to the Island it would be much better you wait untill morning.
