I need up to £2 000 for deposit but I cannot get a loan and my job gives me money to pay day to day bills, tried looking for another job but no decent offers yet. I have one month left before registration. What can I do?

  1. Have you try to get a scholarship/grants? Maybe you can go to

    it's about scholarships/grants information.

    Good luck

  2. There are so many uses for old secured personal loans, and the chances are you will be able to get one quickly and easily. It's a common idea that only homeowners can get loans from finance companies. That just isn't true, most people can apply for, and receive an unsecured personal all kinds of uses. You can get loans from a few hundred pounds, up to £25,000, unsecured. These loans can be used to buy a new car, a holiday abroad, a new kitchen, the latest cell phone available, or just about anything<!--else. It is a true that you will probably pay more interest than a homeowner who takes out a secured loan. But on the other hand, they have to take out a second mortgage to get their hands on the money.

With an unsecured loan, you don't need anything, apart from the application form and a good broker. All kinds of people can apply for unsecured loans, tenants, young people, retired people, people with good and bad credit, you can even get a same-->day loan, and some companies let you apply online. The interest rate you pay will be made very clear to by the broker before you sign anything. As will the amount of the monthly payment, and how long you have to make those payments for. Any quality broker will go out of his way to make sure you understand these rules.

  3. Depends on your degree and credentials, you could be offered fellowships and RAs or TAs to cover you tuitions and living costs. otherwise that would be a hard work considering you cannot receive loans and rely on you savings

  4. Sorry ~ I don't have any help for you except to look for some kind of student loan -- yes, I know it is a loan , but, . . .

I actually just wanted to say I would be VERY leary about contacting any of these people who have given you their email address to contact them.  If they were / are totally legitimate, then they should be giving you their email addresses which are connected to their work - not yahoo or hotmail or gmail.  I should say MOST -- not all ~  but most will NOTbe legitimate lenders - so please be careful on who you speak with!

      Good luck !

  5. Banks are good.

First get a big gun, then a mask. A getaway car or motorbike may be handy as the bus service can not be relied on.
