Question

and i'm not too great at picking out the right kind.

so i wondering if you could help.

I need something that covers under skin blemishes,

and i'm not sure what kind of cover-up i should get for that. Any suggestions?

Trish McEvoy makes a great concealer, the Flawless Concealer Pen, it covers up the imperfections but it is light and will give you an overall airbrushed look.  Remember the concealer will work best if you put your foundation on first, and then spot treat the areas you really want to conceal.

MAC makes a great concealer called Studio Finish. It covers anything up very well.

If the blemishes are red/pink, then find a green corrective concealer.

It hids the blemishes because it is the opposite colour to the red/pink, which turns the skin back to neutral.

If the blemishes are brown/purple, then a yellow concealer works  the same way.

You wear it only on those spots and it goes under the foundation.
