Look at the Expedia map link below.  The Convent Station (on the Morristown Line) seems to be the closest.  I've also included the link for NJTransit's Trip Planner in case you want to take the bus.

On NJ Transit rail take the Morris line from Penn Station to Convent Station--this is the stop before Morristown.  From NY Penn Station it is about a 30 minute trip.

Do NOT take the bus.  Route 78 is under major construction and you will have lengthy delays.

I think it is $10.50 round trip and $8.50 one-way with a $2 surcharge if you buy your ticket on the train instead of at the ticket booth window.

If you have time go to Century 21 Department Store located on South Street--walking distance from the Morristown station.
