I was accepted at Bowling Green State University in April. I got one scholarship for 1000 dollars, but all of my aid is split in half. I got 6 thousand some from the government. I cannot get loans. There is no possible way for us to even be accepted for a loan. (We've tried.) I've applied for every scholarship possible. I have a job, but we don't have the money. We can't find the money and only one person in that whole place has been willing to help us. I'm desperate. I've looked at every possible way to get it. You can get an installment plan but the lowest it can go is about the same as our house payment. I've looked at fastweb and everything else and I'm getting nothing. I'm at a loss. Is there anything anyone knows at all that can get me some money for college? If I don't go this year, it's going to be even harder to go later because we will have less money. The government won't give us c**p and my bill has 10,000 some left on it. I really really need help!

  1. Perhaps you should look for a cheaper school.  you can attend many state schools and community colleges for what you are being offered in government assistance.

  2. You can try to apply more scholarship or try to apply government  university?

  3. The government won't give you c**p? You stated they were giving you "6 thousand some," that's a lot more than other people get. If you can't afford Bowling Green than you can't afford it. You are getting the financial aid you deserve, it's up to you how to spend it and to find the rest on your own if it's not enough for you to go to the school you want.
