Will I have an option of them just mailing the bill and then making payments. I have no insurance, yet, in the process. I'm 21 years old and need to go to the doctor for anxiety problems? I live in Atlanta and was wondering the estimated cost for an appointment(just for anxiety and meds)?

  1. The county hospital cannot turn away a person in need.

In fact, you do not even have to pay for the services...the taxpayers will pay the bill for you.

Why not pick up the phone and call private doctor after private doctor after private doctor after private doctor, until you find one who will accept payments (which, often, never arrive).

An alternative is to contact a clinic that specializes in treating blacks or Mexicans.  They are sometimes able to draw upon grant money.

  2. r u poor get insureances

  3. All you can do is talk to the doctor's office and tell them you don't have any insurance. They will likely adjust the cost to help you, and maybe even give you sample meds or at least generic brands. Most doctors will work with you.

  4. If you are a student, you can go to the health services at school and its MUCH cheaper.  If not, you can try looking up any free clinics in your area, they may offer more affordable alternatives as well.   Good Luck.

  5. There are public services.  I found this site which should help you in the right direction:

Most states have programs in place where they have sliding scale payments for people with mental health issues.

  6. Well i think you should go to the doctor and make payments they dont have to be 100 dollar payments just somewhat of one

  7. Check to see if you can go to a local clinic. It is cheaper than a regular doctor.

    Get some insurance.

  8. Call your doc's office and ask if they take payments and what the estimated fee will be. Some places will work with you, others won't.

    Good luck!
