I need to grow at least 3 inches (for a girl) - i'm 19 yrs old?

Hello!

I'm now 19 years old but when i was 17 in high school i really liked this girl (she was 16) and she really liked me. We used to obsess over each other constantly. She was always taller than me but while we were young we didn't care.

But now that we are older, height matters more. She is 5'10, i'm about 5'8. I want to be at least her height or a bit taller & then we can date :)

So how do i grow taller cos i heard u can do exercises and take pills to get taller.

    Relax from head to toe. Close your eyes and relax every part of your body.

    Maintain a habit of sleeping at the same time everyday, including weekends.

    Sleep on your back with a flat pillow under your knees. This will align your spine properly and prevent any back aches caused by sleeping in a bent position.

    You have got to be kiddin...?  Grow 3 inches.  Look if she has a problem w/ you being just 3 inces shorter kick her to the curb....

  4. first things first, my friend love does not involve height nor gender nor skin color.

    love is all about how you feel about a person and how they feel about you. if they're willing to look past height, weight, and all that other stuff to be with you, that's what its all about.

    now secondly, puberty hits girls before guys that's why in school girls are usually taller than guys for a while.

    because girls begin the maturity process a couple years earlier, and end a couple years earlier as well.

    you may still grow, because it is said that the average person stops growing at the age of 25.

    but it might not happen so don't hold your breath on it.

  5. Try Skipping....many people have said that it helps & i do know of some people who used to skip and are now tall.

  6. do stretches daily this stretch your bones google some strectches that increase the length of your bones. other exercise such as sprinting, jump roping and riding a bike with the pedals far causing a stretch in your legs

    You know that Greek myth, where the dude put people on the bed, and stretched them? You can try that.

Personality and compatibility are more important than height in a relationship.  My boyfriend is just one inch taller than me, and when we first started dating, I was self conscious about it, and wore the flattest shoes possible around him, even though I generally prefer heels.  But now I wear heels when I want to, even when it puts me a couple of inches taller than him, because I know it doesn't bother him.

    If it doesn't bother her, then you shouldn't let it bother you.  But at age 19, it's unlikely you'll miraculously get three inches taller.

You are pretty much at the top of the chart on your growth potential.  Although, some guys do keep growing until they are 21 or 23.   Check the internet & see if they still sell 'Elevator Shoes'.  Many years ago they were the rage for guys feeling the need for more height.  If you two really care for each other - 2 inches will not matter.  Are YOU the one that's self conscious?  I'd be willing to bet she hasn't said a word about it.  If you have a winning smile, a positive attitude & are a nice guy - don't worry about your height.  It's how you handle yourself that counts.  Good Luck.
