  1. There are a few problems with this deck:

    1. You have many tribute cards.

    2. You have some banned cards.

    3. You have 20 monsters, 10 Spells, and 10 Traps.

    4. You have too many weak cards.

    5. You have the same amount Spells as you do Traps.

These are probably just a few problems.

Anyway, I'll give you the advice I use to build a deck:

    1. Choose a strategy. Even if you had 3 of every card and the ones that are banned in advanced format were separated out, if you just made your deck out of strong cards, someone can still easily beat you.

    2. Get the cards for the strategy. Place in 1 pile every card that could fit/support that strategy, including the Spells and Traps. You will often have a big stack.

    3. Add to the pile all the staple cards, including the ones that don't fit your theme.

    4. Look through that pile and slowly eliminate cards that don't belong to the deck as well as the other cards do. But you have to remember this balance:

you should have about 20 monsters, 13 Spells, and 7 traps.

Eventually you will get down to the last 50 cards.

    5. When you get to the last 50 cards, it will be really hard to eliminate the last 10 cards. Try to eliminate cards so that, at the end, you will have the balance I explained.

    6. Most good decks are 40 cards. One important exception is the Gadget deck, where, if it has 3 of each Gadget, should have 45 cards. You should then have the balance like 22 monsters, 15 Spells, and 8 Traps.

    7. Then check the Forbidden/Limited List to see if you have more of a card than you are allowed. If you do, you will have to replace some of that card with another card.

Also, Raigeki, Pot of Greed, and Call of the Haunted are banned.

  2. Change 1 Trap Hole with Mirror Force.
