I need to install a septic system on a 2 bathroom house?

The home is located south of Rolla Mo. How large of a system do I need and how much would a system of this size cost to be installed by a contractor and is I were to do it?

Well, you better call the local inspection office first... to see what code requirements are.  You have to use a minimum size, and it has to be placed a certain distance from any potable water supply.

As to cost, I'd ballpark it at $1k minimum...cost will go up, depending on what kind of tank, how big the drainfield, etc.

Call the local inspection office first, then start calling contractors... get references AND CHECK THEM.

I'm a little farther east than you, and spent about $750 a few years ago, with a concrete tank, and drain field installation.

well you have to keep it at least 100 ft. from well check the code its 500 gals per bedroom you will need at least 1500 ft leach line should cost anywhere from 3500 to 4500  i live in ohio might call the heath dept in your town they have all the details there
