I need to kill algae in my homes AC

What do i use , it causes a bad fish-like smell everytime i use the ac (the ac upstairs) and it really smells , do you have any alternative to getting rid of this smell and thanx

You can spray Lysol into return with fan running do this many times over a few days. Read the can on what it will kill. I do it every month. Bleach should not be sprayed into the A/C system it will eat metal up fast!

Check to make sure the condensed water drain is open and not plugged so the water won't stand in the A/C and become stagnant.

Pour undiluted bleach into a spray bottle. Spray the inside of the A/C. to kill the algae. Give the bleach time to evaporate before using the A/C.
