I need to know, if I was injured in a no fault accident whose insurance company should pay my medical?

Both my company and the other vehicle are the same. I have a huge gash in my head, headaches , and severe back pain. I am afraid to see anyone other than the er I went to . Is my insurance on the hook for my injuries or the other guys , please advise.

  1. Your auto insurance does not cover your medical costs.


  2. You better hope you have pip or medical on your policy b/c your insurance would cover it if you have the coverages.  The other persons is not liable for you.  sorry.

  3. It depends on what state you are in, and who caused the accident.  When two cars are involved, at least one is at fault.

    If you're in a "no fault" state, then you have to file for any injuries under your OWN policy.

    You need to discuss this with your agent, who can give you state and policy specific information.

  4. Since you stated this is a no-fault accident, then each of you are required to take care of your own injuries and cars.

    If you have health insurance, turn your claim into them.
