Steam.  For a real renewable source of energy we should all drive steam powered cars.  We could grow trees and then burn them to create steam.  Look folks, you can go on and on about "green" fuels.  If you say that electric cars do not pollute, then my house does not pollute.  If you were to take all the "bad" stuff we have put in the air, water, or in the earth from the dawn of time until now; it would not equal even one minutes worth of output from a volcano.

My diesel is a older one without computers.It will burn 100% used cooking oils,or used transmission fluid,and motor oil.I have a heater that thins the fuel down to the thickness of diesel.

If you have a gasoline engine car you can get it slightly modified and burn Methanol (wood alcohol), Ethanol (Grain alcohol), Isopropyl Alcohol (made from propane) or Butynol (made from butane).  You can actually burn pure Butynol in an unmodified car with no problems, it is very close to Gasoline in the way it operates an ICE.

I have a diesel pick-up

we fried turkeys for Thanksgiving and instead of just throwing out the used oil I just put it in my gas tank. My exhaust smelled like fried turkeys for the next week.

note that you can only do this with a diesel and you must filter the used oil, mix it with regular diesel and then only do this in the summer months and not very often either,  but it DOES work
