yesterday jui jitsu charlie fought me... yes "that" jui jitsu charlie. the fight started out well, a back and forth battle between two equally skilled opponents, when all of a sudden he did a flip and landed on me and got me in an arm bar!!! he wanted me to tap, but i wouldnt. so eventually my arm snapped at the elbow... at which point i was able to slip my arm out of his lock. then i did the only thing i knew how to... i judo chopped. i swung wildly with my broken appendage , him running away very scared... then BAM i hit him right on the top of the head with the ridge of my hand.. cracked his skull. won the fight. hes still in a coma. but anyway, how do i defend against an arm bar. and how do i fix my broken arm?

  1. Funny story.

Anyway, the best defense is to figure out what positions lead to your opponent going for an armbar and don't get in them!  Jiu jitsu is a chess match with your opponent trying to think two or three moves ahead of you.  So do the same!

  2. take some jiu jitsu

  3. I would answer this, but you're a fahking idiot for not tapping. Is it better to lose your pride, or an arm? Keep letting people break your limbs; it sounds like a great way to escape, dumb@$$.

  4. Grab the wrist of the arm that they are attempting an arm bar on with your other hand and dont let them straighten it out. Keep your arm bent and try to slide your elbow out through their legs at which point you can escape. Dont let them straighten it out, if they get it straightened out you have to try and flip to a better position where you can get attempt to get it out quickly. If that doesnt work you should probably tap.

  5. would've answered if you left the rest out.

  6. don't stop now, you managed to dream up this tale why not dream up a defense against an arm bar.

  8. that's was wonder full

    kick him in the balls

but nah seriously avoid getting close to your opponent in a fight. avoid grapples. Just use your fists and keep them up and don't lose balance if u keep your distance when throwing your punches youll be able to see if he going for a grapple or making any moves and then smack him inbetween the eyes!

    hope this helped

  9. clear the leg closest to your head and sit up

  10. do not stick your arm out with the person on the bottom. if he/she does get it howeve, the best defense i ve seen for it is to just shower your opponent with punches to the throat and head and wriggle your arm until it free
