i just purchased a Sound Storm 1FD1500 1500W Class D Mono-Block Amp just want to know if it is a good one i got the 850 one and it was bad *** it will be powering the KICKER 07DCVR122 and they have a rms rating of 800 watts and the amp i ordered is a 1000 watts by 2 ohms so i think i made the right choice

  1. With a dual 2 ohm sub, you'll have to run at either 1 or 4 ohms. Unfortunately, I don't believe that the amp is 1 ohm stable. Because there is no 1 ohm RMS rating on the spec sheet I have.

    At 4 ohms, you'll end up with 540 watts RMS to power the sub. Which is enough to power the sub. But, not to it's full potential.
