dont say cusps dont exist because i know someone born on a cusp and there exactly a mixture of both signs; and exactley like the description stated.

anyways, the libra/scorpio cusp is october 19th to the 23rd.

im born on the 18th. Im a libra sun, libra rising so basically i shoulod act exactley like a libra. But than out of no were my attitude changes and im acting more like a scorpio than a libra.

Being born one day before a cusp; would i be affected by it aswell?

or is it strictly 19-23rd?

For me it makes a whole lot more sense, based on my personality, that id be a libra/scorpio not just a libra.

  1. Hi answers

Many will disagree but I believe in cusps. Libra/Scorpios strive to create balance and harmony through investigation and probing. This combination makes one strongly intuitive and penetrating with a distinct need to be liked. They are diplomatic and cooperative yet, can be stubborn and refuse to give up when others have long abandoned a project. This is the scorpio influence. They get things done.

Now on the emotional side, they are seductive, intense and commanding whcih good communicative skills. They may repress their emotions, but underneath, they are lusty and perceptive.

This sign/cusp make a person motivated and loyal, but often misunderstood due to Scorpio influence and may be seen as dictatorial. If they aren't careful, though, their passionate nature may lead them into self-indulgence or compulsion. The great strength here is the drive for peace and harmony (Libra) and their determination to see things through to the end(Scorpio).

  2. You should check on the other signs in your personality.

Scorpio could be coming from moon or mercury or mars.

These signs affect us in their own ways just as well.

  3. You weren't born on a cusp.

My brother was born on the 18th and he wasn't born on a cusp.

Cusp is usually the first day of a sign or the last one.

  4. agree with No Belief

  5. Go her and they speak of the cups exactly.

    http://www.novareinna.com/constellation/...

Go all the way down and you will see in the first column, third row.

    It will inner self

    the child

then the cups click there and also search around that will help you better than any other astrology page

You can also go to http://astro.com to learn more about your chart and other signs with in them.

  6. I agree with Sai Lei you may have Scorpio influences coming from another place in your chart. I know many people born near or on the cusp and they act like just one sign, not both, but that is my experience. I don't doubt cusps, but I like to look at the chart to see which is which.

  7. Wow, I was born on 10/22 and I'm in the same boat as you are.  I have my Mercury, Venus, Pluto and Rising in Scorpio.  Since I'm the 22nd., most people ask me if I'm a Libra or Scorpio all the time.  I say I have influences from both signs but I'm technically a Libra with a heavy Scorpio influence.

  8. You can't go by general days, as it varies year to year what sign things are in.  You need exact date and time and place. Cusp simply means dividing line.

  9. You have a stellium of two personal planets PLUS the ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) in Scorpio and you still think that the Sun needs to be in two places at once in order to explain the Scorpio influence in your personality? Is Pluto conjunct an angle or is there 8th house influence in your chart as well? Any astrologer who tells you that you are a blend of both signs because your Sun is placed towards the end of the sign Libra is either too lazy or too poorly educated astrologically to bother looking at the rest of the planets in your chart to see where that other influence is coming from. Or they're just telling you what you want to hear because they know that people like being told what they want to hear even when it's not based in astrological fact. It's easier to *** kiss and tell someone that they're right about something than it is to explain things as they really are, because people are more inclined to accept theories and reasoning which agree with what they already believe to be true...even if they're wrong.

You are not a cusp sign, and neither is that one other person that you know, because the last time I checked, the Sun can only be in one sign at a time. The placements of your Mercury (how you think and express yourself), Venus (how you love and what you find to be beautiful), and a strong Pluto in the sign of it's rulership (which for some reason I'm willing to bet is either on an angle or significantly aspecting other influences in your chart somehow) all in a Scorpio stellium (a stellium is three or more planets in the same sign...it represents a concentration of energy in the particular sign where the stellium is) tell you why there is an emphasis on Scorpio in your personality. You don't have to pretend that the Sun somehow cloned itself so that it could be in two different signs just because it's close to Scorpio. There are obviously other, more astrologically ACCURATE ways of explaining the Scorpio influence in your chart. If you bothered to look past your friend's sun sign to the rest of the placements in their birth chart, you'd probably find an equally as astrologically valid reason that they too seem to express qualities which do not belong to their sun sign.

So no, you do not exhibit Scorpio qualities because you were "born on a cusp", because:

    1. You were not born on a cusp to begin with

    2. The sun cannot be in two places at once

    and

    3. The Scorpio influence in your personality is easily explained by the stellium of two personal planets and the ruler of Scorpio in the sign which it rules in your birthchart. And possibly more influences, NONE of which involving the placement of the sun in the later degrees of Libra.
