Airfare, train, bus, and how much each will cost, time it takes to get there would be a plus as well.

  1. The cheapest way to do this is to drive to Buffalo and then fly to Calgary or perhaps fly to a US city like Seattle or Minneapolis.

Then rent a car and drive north.

  2. I dont understand why you cant figure this out for yourself. You obviously have a computer and a brain and do you know what google is?

  3. Airfare you are looking at about $400 - $500 to Edmonton or Calgary and you'll have to drive/bus from there.  Bus from Toronto to Red Deer will be about 51 hours.  Approx $160 though.  I'm not sure about trains (I don't deal with them a lot) but check viarail.ca  for the prices (I believe they are the only ones who run that route).

    Good Luck!

It is expensive to get out west.  If you don't want to take 2 - 3 days to get there, you'll have to fly.  expedia.ca, travelocity.ca are showing you the cheapest prices available.   You can call a travel agent to see if they know of any seat sales.  But it is not cheap getting out west.  You COULD check zoom airlines, or anyone who flies out of Hamilton.
