I believe leak only occurs when shower is running. The pipe which comes out of wall to shower head is easily turned. I'm wondering if i turn that pipe all way out and remove it, is there any product i can put on the threads which will seal the joint it screws into.

  1. Use teflon tape, or a plumbers thread sealer.

  2. You have to open the wall up to locate the leak

    fix the leak

    then close the wall up

put new or install old tiles back on the wall if you have any

  3. MIGHTY PUTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. turn the shower head pipe all the way out, take some teflon tap. wrap around the threads at the very end, like the last inch and 1/2.  s***w the pipe back into the wall and put as much pressure you can on it without twisting it off.  You're trying to tighten down the joint.  This is your first step before you do anything else, then if this fails you can go on to what the other guy said,
