I need to know how to make a personalized kite?

I have a special date planned for someone in the park and want to mak a personlized kite to surprise them with that we can fly together. I know I can't use glue because that would weigh the kite down and then it won't fly. I need some suggestions on what I can use to attatch letter to a kite. Thank you for your help!

cool idea. uhh I wouldn't think glue would weigh it down that much you should be right

Maybe you could sew the letters on with some lightweight

thread. I hope this helps.
