I need to know if a certain book is fiction or non fiction?

Question

The book is called To Be A Slave by Julius Lester. I did a few google searches on it and could not find out what it was. Its also possible that it might be a bibliography. My son has 20 reports (13 fiction and 7 non-fiction) to do doing this school year and we are trying to get them all picked now and so that he has them all ready to read. So any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
