  1. We don't have A-levels. The closest equivalent is probably high school graduation(that's grade 12), after which someone can go on to university or technical studies. The average age of a student completing grade 12 is 17 or 18.

    Kindergarten (age 5)

    Grade 1-12 (age 6-18).

    Typically, K-6 is considered elementary school.

    Grades 7-9 are junior high (or middle school).

    Grades 10-12 are high school.  

    After that, it's off to college/university.

  3. what are a levels?? we don't have those here, not sure if we have an equivalent because i'm not too sure what they are.
