Question:

I need to know if there are still public lockers for luggage storage at Gare du Nord in Paris?

There are conflicting versions about whether the lockers are still there or they were removed because of terrorist threats. Also, I think there is luggage storage or consigne if you are travelling on Eurostar but I won't be using any of those trains, will only stop there for a couple of hours.

I need to know for sure, from someone who actually used the lockers two weeks ago or so....

Thanks

  2. According to these people, there are:

I'll translate in case you don't speak French:

There are automatic lockers at Gare du Nord

    open from 6h15 to 23h15

on level one next to the car rental agencies on the same side as the taxi rank exit

    He thinks the prices are:

    4 euros for small lockers

    7 euros for medium lockers

    9,50 euros for large lockers.

  3. Last time I tried to use them they were "temporarily unavailable" with the recommendation to use the lockers at the nearby Gare de l'Est. The trouble is, the Gare de l'Est isn't quite so nearby when you are carrying lots of cases. I haven't taken the risk since then.

Only ysterday some friends going through Paris left their bags in my office, which is a metro ride from the Gare du Nord.
