  1. 'the screening kit is not very precise in telling you what you have' - exactly. That is what the doctor is for. It could be any number of things, some more serious than others. Don't put it off any longer, what you have is not going to get better by itself and could be getting worse.

    go to the doctor!

  2. it usually white & is itchy. them drug store tests are good, aint that a monstat tests too

  3. give us more side effects and issues that u are having along with the itch...is it smelly down there? like fishy? does it burn when u pee? back pain? painful when u pee? discharge? if so what color? u gotta give us more details if u want us to be able to help tell u what u may have

you have had it for 2 months?? why havent u gone to the doctor?? oh ok i just read that u have insurance issues..u could go to planned parenthood or another clinis in ur area that treats ppl with little to no health insurance. but its not good to just let things go on and not get them treated, they can lead to other problems like pelvic inflammatory disease amongst others...i dont think there is another test that u can buy other than that..but i will tell u, get urself a handheld mirror lay on ur back an observe whats going on down there, open the lips(i know this is kinda graphic) look at ur vulve, it should be red, u should see a think white milky discharge or clumpy white discharge when u push like u have to pee...do that but what u can also do is get urself monistat or vagistat, whichever u prefer..dont get the one day cause those tend to not kill all the bacteria and the infection will be back, get at least a 3 day treatment, ur symptoms should get better after the 2nd day...if not then either the infection is way worse because u let it go for so long or either its not a yeast infection...please try to get to the doctor though, cus many stds have the same side effects as a yeast infection, u can never be too careful

  4. Hi there,

In all honesty what you are describing is a yeast infection, and instead of wasting time trying to get a test for it why not just start treating it?

Natural Therapies are inexpensive, effective and safe.

There are many things you need to start doing and addressing if you are suffering from a yeast infection. To start, do the following:

    1. Wear loose clothing and undergarments, oxygen kills yeast, going commando and wearing nothing down there if possible is even better.

    2. Get some unsweetened yogurt and rub it onto a tampon, insert the tampon and do this continually until the yeast infection is gone.

    3. Cut out any and all sugar, alcohol and yeast from your diet. All three will promote the infection further.

    4. Start drinking cranberry juice, pure not from concentrate with no added sugar, I know this goes against the no sugar thing but the acid content in the cranberries will alter the PH balance of your v****a and cause the yeast to die off.

    5. If you can tolerate it, use a raw garlic clove and apply it to the infection, this may burn so dilute it with some olive or coconut oil, both of which can also help eliminate the yeast, especially the coconut.

    6. You can also try taking some vitamin B3, many women find their infections resolve quicker when they are taking 300mg/per day.

    7. Take a probiotic with at least 50 billion live cells per pill, this is key in redistributing good bacteria throughout your body, and effectively end the yeast infection. You must do this continually until you have eliminated your yeast infections and Candida entirely.

    8. Lastly if all else fails, begin adding 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to a bath. Only fill the tub up high enough to submerge your genital area. Stay in the tub for 20-30 minutes at a time.

Hope this helps, the yogurt is the key really, by putting good bacteria directly on the area you will eliminate it quickly. Make sure it is unsweetened and ideally keep an eye out for a variation called Kefir which has even more beneficial bacteria in it to snuff out the infection.

When all is said and done I would suggest you research Candida and take a test to determine if you are suffering from it, as anyone who gets yeast infections has Candida, it's just a matter of how bad it is.
