I need to know if this black ring around my lip piercing... ?

will go away. I got it pierced and about 1 week later i took it out and now im using nose rings to keep it open. The only problem is that theres a black ring around the whole and i need to know how i can get rid of it. Please help tell me what to do. Is this black ring going to be permanent? And where can i buy a metal nose ring from?

first of all, you're using the wrong type of jewelry.

if you're going to be wearing anything, it should be a ring or a labret stud.

you can purchase proper jewelry at a body piercing store or Hot topic.

the black ring is likely bruising from you taking out the jewelry before it was healed and then putting in the wrong type of jewelry. it should not be permanent and will subside after you have the right kind of jewelry in.
