i have a 98, renault clio grande.. 1.2 8v..

i think i scalded the engine driving with low oil one day and since that, my car chugged, like lost power and blew a black smoke!

so we got a 2nd hand engine of a car of the same year an make, and we are gettin it put in today.

do u think it will run smoothly after this?

the car was fine, only i didnt check the oil, and the hole car seemed to be funny after i scalded the engine by doin this??

if the engine is the same code,then should run sweet

im sure but have you had the motor check to find the problem with it before swap... any shop could have told what as wrong and anytime you use a used motor you never know til you get ity in and running what kind of shape its in,, i woul dhave when with a  repair job if i could have before replacing a motor
