Is falconry legal in Florida?

I know from experience that it is legal in Vermont, but I want to know if it is legal in Florida.

If so, are there any Falconry academies or the like in the Tampa Bay - St. Peterburg areas?

Hey,

Falconry is legal in Florida, I see somebody gave you the link to their state club.

Check out: http://www.apfalconry.proboards19.com/  we have some Florida members.

I haven't heard of any falconry academies in Florida, but their state club might offer an apprentice workshop where you learn to make equipment and just general info.  The club would be the best way to learn about the sport.

Yes, it's legal in every state except Hawaii.

Not sure about academies though.
