I'm a vegetarian for 3 years now. On my mind, I'm aware of what to do and what to eat. Now, there's something just to come up on my mind now. How many vegetarians are there around the world? What's the increase percentage per a year? If you're a vegetarian, tell me why u became a vegetarian. The reason I've became a vegetarian was my dream telling me to understand the way animals felt when they're hunted down to be eaten. It was terrible and after that, all the animals were hunting me and eaten me. I didn't like it and I became a vegetarian from striaght on. After that, someone told me there's a movie like the something that called, "Ape..." I forgot the rest of the part. If you know what's the movie title is then thanks. As I'm saying is that, that movie is almost like my dream only I've gotten eaten and the other humans just had to survive on their own from the Apes. It was terrible and I bow to never eat meat again. Now, it's disguising to eat meat. Ewwww! Let me know what u think.

  1. There are estimated to be about 600,000,000 (600 million) vegetarians in the world compared to 5,400,000,000 (5.4 billion)non vegetarians. That's 10% vegetarian vs 90% non vegetarian.

As far as know, there are no real reliable sources as to the increase or decrease. Some pro vegetarian orgs project anywhere from 1% to 2.5 % increase since 1994. Some non vegetarian org stats show an increase of only 1% over the last 30 years to no increase at all.

As for you dream, it is true though: predatory animals WILL hunt you regardless of you diet. Animals don't make moral decisions when it comes to food. They just eat. If food happens to be a gazele or a cute fawn or in your case, a compassionate but just as tasty as a young wildebeest  vegetarian animal lover, so be it.

As for "disgusting to eat meat", tell it to them.. they may have something to say about it..

  2. By the way it's called Planet of the Apes.

I became vegetarian because it was the right thing to do. I really believe that one person can make a difference. Even if i'm the only one not eating meat, that's one less portion of meat in the world. It all starts with you.
