  1. the acne is because your skin is oily, cleanse in the morning and at night, and any time you feel oily.

dry skin on top of that is because you aren't drinking enough water.

  2. try a moisturizer! it can help dramatically! try something from clinique, b/c they can help you find just the kind you need. Also, don't use alot of cleansers w/ salicylic acid or peroxide bc this can dry out your skin really bad.

  3. Use a good moisturizer. I recommend Cetaphil, its really good and works best for dry skin. :)

  4. Try a product with Tea Tree oil in it. Its very good for acne and if you can find one that has it with a moisturizer is good. The Body Shop has a very good product line.

  5. Start cleansing with a cleanser for combination skin morning and night.  Your skin has spots plus dryness, therefore you have combination skin.  Your cleanser should contain salicylic acid/AHA's - some kind of chemical exfoliant.  Wash your face and leave the cleanser on for a few minutes before you rinse it off.  Use an oil free moisturiser for combination skin too, morning and night.  I recommend Neutrogena Deep Clean for all skin types or Dermalogica if you can afford them - book in for a Dermalogica facial and they will reccomend products for your skin type.  Once your spots start to clear up, use a manual exfoliant, like a fine scrub.  Don't use it when you have spots or broken skin because it can spread infection.

If this doesn't work, go to see your doctor.

  6. I tend to have flaky skin sometimes to. My skin is very sensitive, so it was hard for me to try to find something that works. I think your in the same situation i was.

When I'm on my period I wash my face twice a day instead of once, but only while I'm on my period. If it's any other time my skin gets to flaky. On days that it does that I use a light moisturizer. If I use a strong one my skin will get oily and break out again. I also use a face wash that foams, it helps with getting into your pores better. I also start with and scrub longer on spots that are more oily such as my forehead. I don't recommend any specific face wash because not all work for everyone, but when you are testing face washes test them for 2 weeks or so before actually trying a new one. It may cause you to break out more if you switch often.

  7. Well your skin is dry, pealing and oily all together because you are overdrying it and at the sametime keeping the dead cells there, you need to polish your skin and moisturize it with a balancing formula...

see, the skin regenerates every 4 to6 weeks and compensates for it lacks and excesess... meaning that if you overdry, your subdermis will produce more oil than it needs, clogging your pore, leading to breakouts and blackheads.

Someone above mentioned salicilyc acid, it is very good actually, the belzoil peroxide in proactiv is too strong and your skin eventually gets used to the chemical, so it will stop working in a month or two.

I recommend the Artistry line (it is the only one I use and recommend my clients, it is 100% botanical and it is alorgen free, plus has a 6 month $back guarantee)

Read the product deacriptions and have a blast once you reach youre beauty goals.

    Hope I helped,

  8. 1. Use Aveeno Lotion everyday at night and in the morning. Aveeno will work because I read lots of beauty magazines and most celebs use that when they have dry skin.

    2. You should go buy Proactive! It will work if you don't have that much acne, but if you have a lot, it might not work for you. Jessica Simpsons used Proactive!!!

    3. If you don't wanna use too much money on Proactive, go to Target or maybe CVS and buy Clean and Clear!! It Cleans deep down to your pores. I use it everyday and it cleans my face. When you put it on, wait until you feel the stinging thats how it cleans you face.

    4. Go to any drugs store like CVS and maybe Target and buy Biore. It's a cleanser. I use it too and it clears up your face a lot. Only use it 1 time a day or else it will make you face dry. (It has alcohol in it)

    5. Wash your face more often with water. That works too. It cleans out all the oil on you face when you sweat. Wash your face with water about 3 times a day so its really really clean!

    6. Drink more water than usual and stop drinking soft drinks.

  9. you might have a skin condition ... which those can be cured with medicine... I know this sounds weird, but before you spend money on a dermatologist, get some cortisone 10. It is a topically applied steroid that will lessen the effects of something more serious than just a moisturizing problem.

  10. "Do us all a favor. Dont breed."

and you are very perfect, huh?

eww, whats wrong with your skin. dont breed, so your kids wont have the same issues.

  11. get a good thick moisteriser

    like cocoa butter :)

  12. Get Aveeno Clear complexion daily cleansing pads. One side will exfoliate your skin and the other side will smooth it out. Then use a hydrating lotion at night and at daytime too if you can. Hope this helps

  13. Your face wash may be drying out your skin. Buy a product that has built in moisturizers and is for dry skin. Try to find natural products, as they work better and will help your skin without any side effects. Burt's Bees has some good products.
