I'm researching a novel I'm about to write about a family who owns a corporation and i was wondering If i have 3 different characters who owns this giant company, one owns 40 percent and is in charge, the other siblings own 30 percent each,,,,how can i have the sibling that has 40% take over their shares in a dramatic fashion?

If the 40% owner killed one of the 30% owners, then the killer would have a 55% share and be able to appoint their own board of directors, etc and crowd out the minority stakeholder.
