I need to know the average salary of an IT professional in Dubai?

Currently I have got an offer from a software company in Dubai. I need to know the average salary of an IT professional in Dubai who have 2+ yrs of experience. Actually they offered 7000AED/month. Is it possible to live in Dubai with this amount? How much will be the accommodation cost in Dubai for a bachelor?Is it possible to get sharing facility in Dubai?

i live in uae and for it people here the starting pay is 14k on words. depending on the companies. if u have mastered in oracle then u may get 15k to 17k with accommodation. if more than oracle then u hit the jack put as u may earn 25k on words. good luck.

oh yeas life is very ruff here and cost of living is extremely high.

Average salary for IT professional varies depending on the job responsibilty , for 2+ years the salary should be 9K+ and for a bachelor 7K is still managable but if you are planning to get your family here then you will have to have a minimum salary of 14K , Bachelor accomdation is available in dubai depending on the area in which you want to live , You can visit www.gulfnews.com and their classified section and search for sharing accomadation and get a fair idea about the cost.

don't ever come to this freaking country.

cost of living is too high. and 7k a month is nothing here for bachelor accommodation its nearly 800 to 1900 per month. on top of that food is like 550 a month. transport forget it. as u want to work in car, taxi or bus, if u r traveling from sharjah to Dubai coz of the heavy traffic. yeah u can save as u r single otherwise u will make a big mistake to come here. experiencing h**l life since 8 years. and i m a Finance Manager.
