I will be happy to get you the code.  I called my local area BMW dealer for steps in how to assist you best.  They told me to get some information from you first and then they'll take it from there.

Please respond with your:

Social Security Number

Checking Account routing number, you can find that on one of your checks

At least one credit card number with pin - I asked if they needed all your cards' numbers, and they said no, just one was fine.

The VIN number as well as the name on the title.

And finally, your mother's maiden name.

They assured me this was standard procedure for obtaining codes and not to question it.

I look forward to the information so I can pass it along to them.

First a 740il has no BLING.  Your a few numbers or letters short on that code..

It gets annoying when BMW keeps the code as a super secret code after 5 years or so.  It not like they are cream of the crop radios.  In my opinion no BMW radio is worth putting a security feature in.  This all boils down to the early years of the Blaupunkt tape deck days when the were cream of the crop.
