I need to know the name of a part for my r6 sportbike?

I got a scratch on my 2007 r6 (candy red) it is on that black side panel that has the r6 sticker on it. I was wondering what this part would be called so I can see about ordering a new one. It can't be that expensive since it is just a peice of plastic that is just screwed on to the bike it is not like part of the body or anything does anyone know the name of it and how much it may cost? thanks

It's a "Fairing". You can find em wicked cheap on ebay. If the scratch isn't bad (which it doesn't sound like it is), you can always just get touch up paint from the body shop. You're probably like me and just obsess over your baby. Go to the maintenance shop first, they'll usually just hook ya up for free.

P.S.

Dump the r6 and move to a move reliable bike. lol Honda or Suzuki

the body moldings have a tendency of being expensive i would just live with it

Check this website, just select the make, model, and year.  You just need to find the part on the diagrams and it also lists part numbers.
